Soothing moisturizing cream

This 3rd step is totally recommended for blemish-prone skin. It is lightweight, unscented and does not leave your face super shiny. From the 3 products of the same line, this is the "smallest" one. Although, a little goes a long way, so I am almost positive it will last almost the same time as the other two.I have been using all 3 products (cleansing, toner and cream) and in a matter of 4 days the redness and some pimples I had on the jaw line have decreased. I am using them in the morning and night and can really see great results.I am happy to see Mediheal brand, follows the same standard for their products about using EWG green grade ingredients, meaning they are all the lowest hazard for skin/body use.Full Ingredient List:Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Water(50%), Centella Asiatica Extract(25%), Glycerin, Propanediol, Butylene Glycol, Neopentyl Glycol Diheptanoate, Phenyl Trimethicone, 1,2-Hexanediol, Water, Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Madecassoside, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Cutibacterium Granulosum Ferment Extract Filtrate(5,000ppm), Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Madecassic Acid, Sorbitan Isostearate, 4-Terpineol, Tocopherol, Tromethamine, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Lecithin, Maltodextrin, Anhydroxylitol, Xylitol, Hydrolyzed Acacia Macrostachya Seed Extract, Pentylene Glycol, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Fruit Extract, Xylitylglucoside, Pyrus Communis (Pear) Flower Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Glucose, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Brassica Oleracea Italica (Broccoli) Extract, Brassica Oleracea Capitata (Cabbage) Leaf Extract, Medicago Sativa (Alfalfa) Extract, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Extract, Raphanus Sativus (Radish) Seed Extract, Brassica Campestris (Rapeseed) Extract, Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans, Sodium Hydroxide, Benzyl Glycol, Cellulose Gum, Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, Melissa Officinalis Extract, Chaenomeles Sinensis Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Flower Extract, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Raspberry Ketone

Fragrance free, silky feel, great for my sensitive skin

I am in my late 40's with dry sensitive skin made more so by my employment as a swim coach. This is in basic tube packaging with an aluminum seal so you know if it has been tampered with. Mine has a sticker on the tube correcting the package size. The cream is a lightweight almost gel consistency lotion. It is very pale green and I couldn't detect any scent at all. It literally sinks into your skin without any rubbing or tugging and feels silky and nourishing when applied. A little bit goes a long way. There is a slight sheen to it . . . my skin looked shiny for 5 minutes after application but it does not stay that way. This did not set off my sensitive skin at all, I had no redness, peeling, itching or burning. I was surprised how well it worked for me. Although I don't think it really helped my acne, it certainly didn't hurt it. I do wish it were a little more moisturizing but if you don't have the extremely dry skin that I do, I think this would be a great choice.

Suitable for All Skin Types, Gentle Enough For Regular Use; Helps With Mild Acne

I had the opportunity to use three items in the MEDIHEAL Tea Tree Biome Blemish line together: the Cica Toner (12.8oz plastic bottle with simple pour spout cap); the Cica Gel Cleanser (6.7oz suitable plastic pump); and their Cica Cream (3.3oz brand-green polyplastic tube). The focus ingredients are tea tree water (varying concentrations/dilutions) and Centella Asiatica (rich in Madecassoside, Asiatic Acid, etc.). Tea tree is known for its anti-bacterial, anti-fungal properties, and Centella Asiatica (Cica) has natural skin-soothing compounds. Both chemicals (because everything is a chemical, even water) are generally well tolerated and suitable for acne-prone skin.I wanted to review these together if users are interested in trying one of these individually or with other items from the same tea tree and cica-focused line. I will note that these products work well alone, with other skincare brands, and with one another. The Mediheal Tea Tree Biome Blemish line is designed to soothe acne-prone, irritated skin, repair the weakened moisture/acid barrier, and treat and heal breakouts. Also, they are alcohol-free.For reference, I am over 40, with sensitive, combination-to-oily, congestion/acne-prone skin. If you have mild to moderate acne, I would say this line could be helpful. Not so much for cystic. Over the last 30+ years, I've struggled with all forms, from cystic to occasional congestion. Now in my 40s, I only deal with the occasional hint of congestion as my acne is well managed with a minimalist routine. I don't usually use products with added colorants, fragrances, or essential oils. And I don't usually layer one multiple acne-care-focused products with many actives (e.g., BHAs, AHAs) at the same time or even every day. Even though it seems counterproductive to treating acne, I like a less is more approach, which has helped my complexion tremendously. I focus on keeping my moisture barrier balanced, and a few nights a week, I apply adapalene only to the acne-prone areas of my face.As a seasoned acne-suffer, heed my advice. Do not aim to dry out your face to treat your pimples. Even if you have oily or combo skin, find a lightweight moisturizer you like and use it. Ideally, you want to maintain a healthy moisture barrier, as a compromised one will respond by creating more sebum (oil) and breakouts. Also, use SPF every day. Exfoliating ingredients (AHAs, BHAs, high percentages of vitamin C and A, and their derivatives) will make you more UV sensitive. And pimples are considered wounds. Wounds will absorb UV radiation and respond by getting darker (natural reaction) to protect the skin beneath. Read up on acne scarring and terms like post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Not popping or picking and using a moisturizer and SPF will help minimize these.Anyway, back to the meat of the review - the MEDIHEAL Tea Tree Biome Blemish Line. I'll try to include as many relevant images and ingredient lists on each respective product review.I will mention them in order of intended use. As with other skincare, patch test first, and if you experience any sensitivity or irritation, discontinue use.Step 1: The Mediheal Tea Tree Biome Blemish Cica Gel Cleanser comes in a 6.7oz plastic pump for $15.40 as of this writing. Affordable and suitably packaged. A thick, light green gel wash with the mild medicinal scent you'd expect from something marked with tea tree. Foams up well. Used AM (main wash) and PM (second step to double-cleanse).Ingredient highlights include tea tree water (of course), noting regular water is the first ingredient, followed by glycerine. This wash also has aloe leaf water, a mix of Centella Asiatica and related compounds, licorice, willow bark, fermented components, etc. I wish this did not have rosemary or orange extracts. They are unnecessary and likely to irritate more sensitive users. It is gentle enough for daily use, in my experience. I've been using it day and night, most days recently, without issue. No excessive dryness or oiliness, no new breakouts, or sensitivity.Step 2: The Mediheal Tea Tree Biome Blemish Cica Toner comes in a generous 12.8oz plastic bottle with a standard pour spout cap and retails for $15.40 as of this writing. The near odorless, pale green water-toner is applied after cleansing, using your hands or a cotton pad. Since this is a treatment-specific toner, I prefer to use a cotton round, gentle whisking it along my more oily or acne-prone areas. Helps balance out sebum on my forehead, especially. I don't end up as greasy-looking by mid-day.This toner, too, has copious amounts of tea tree water, slightly more than the gel wash. It has many of the same highlighted ingredients I mentioned before (e.g., aloe, licorice, willow bark). Alas, it also has rosemary and orange. But this toner has no scent I can discern and is equally gentle and suitable for daily use. I prefer to use this more in my AM routine, but it can be used day and night. The toner is soothing and pleasant, non-irritat

great for summer

this is super soothing and not too rich for day time use. it absorbs well, keeps my skin hydrated, and my skin likes it. it probably might be a little lacking in the winter if you're on the dry side tho so ymmv. for reference i have slightly sensitive skin and it's also in between normal and combination, with a slight uptick in small pimples on my forehead in the summer time. this works better than my current summer moisturizer because it helps with the forehead pimples and keeps it minimal without extra steps in my routine. i used to be really unsure about tea tree oil in skincare stuff because it can be irritating but every korean brand product i've tried that uses it hasn't been like that at all, especially this moisturizer. it's a great product and i love this brands sheet mask so i recommend if you get tiny zits in the summer time to smooth out your skins texture in natural light.

Calming and moisturizing

I love centella asiatica for its calming properties and this MEDIHEAL Tea Tree Biome Blemish Cica Cream delivers the perfect balance for my skin. The cream is pale green and light weight. I just need a pea size amount to cover my face. It absorbs almost instantly and leaves my face hydrated and soft with a matte finish. I like that it is not oily or heavy. It is perfect for summer months. Thanks! Enjoy your day!
